Delivery Timeframe
Translations up to one 8 ½ x 11 page in length can, with rare exceptions, be completed within 24 hours. Typically, a single translator can translate anywhere from five to ten 8 ½ x 11 pages, depending on the level of difficulty. Project teams can also complete comprehensive projects on similarly tight schedules. Each project team is headed up by a project manager and comprises translators and proofreaders.

Danish belongs to the northeastern Germanic language group and differentiates itself from Swedish through its percussion, the cutting off of final syllables, and the more frequent use of tonal consonants.

The language is divided into three vernaculars. Western Danish (Jutland), Central Danish (Sjaelland), and Eastern Danish (Bornholm), which differ greatly. Central Danish, spoken in the capital Copenhagen, was developed during the Reformation. Central Danish is winning out primacy as the literary language and is strongly influenced by Low and High German.
